Rate Limiting

Rate limits are applied per brand, not per API key.

Limits

08:00 – 18:00 (UK)	120
18:01 – 07:59 (UK)	180

Exceeding the limit

When the limit is exceeded, the API returns:

• HTTP status: 429 Too Many Requests
• Retry-After header: a timestamp in YmdHis format (e.g. 20260421103219) indicating the earliest time the request may be retried.

Handling 429 responses

Back off until the time given in the Retry-After header before retrying. See Retry patterns for the general retry strategy.
