Incorporations

What it is

An Incorporation represents the formation of a company record in the eFiling system, and the filing of that incorporation with Companies House.

How it relates to other resources

  • An Incorporation has a registered office address.
  • An Incorporation has one or more officers (directors, members, shareholders, guarantors).
  • An Incorporation may be associated with services (e.g. registered office service, mail forwarding).
  • An Incorporation is created as part of an Order.

The lifecycle of an Incorporation — from Started through Companies House submission to Accepted/Complete, and the events that trigger each transition — will be documented here.
