What it is

An Officer is a person or corporate entity associated with an Incorporation in one or more roles.

Roles

Section titled “Roles”
  • topdog — director (if the company type is limited by shares) or member (if limited by guarantee).
  • holder — shareholder (if limited by shares) or guarantor (if limited by guarantee).
  • secretary
  • psc — Person with Significant Control.

How it relates to other resources

  • An Officer belongs to an Incorporation.
  • An Officer may have a residential address and a service address.
  • An Officer has one or more holdings (share classes and quantities).

Lifecycle

Section titled “Lifecycle”

Officer appointments, terminations, and changes are filed via separate Companies House filings, each of which has its own status lifecycle mirroring the incorporation flow.
